The Graveyard at Burger King
Took this photo at a Burger King outlet this morning where I had my breakfast of sausage, egg and cheese sandwich, hash browns and iced tea while leisurely reading today's issue of the Philippine Daily Inquirer.
Enlighten me, please.
When does graveyard start?
Just curious...why is there no specific time? Is this the nightmare after Christmas?
Just kidding.
burger king, graveyard, holiday business hours

Graveyard shift usually refers to the hours of work between midnight and 8 a.m. The world gets to be eerily silent midway through that shift.
huh? this sign is confusing and misleading. they should have put the exact closing time instead. customers might go to laloma as a result! LOL.
in the hospitality industry, the graveyard shift is from 11pm to 7am.
when someone croaks?
just kidding
happy new year
R Panaderos, shouldn't they have put 12 midnight instead. After all, the days after that are marked 24 hours.
Mon, that's what I thought too. Confusing indeed.
BH, that's a laugh.
hehehe... ill ask pay, he works in BK. ill give u the details soon. hehehe...
I agree. They should have put 12 midnight instead just to be consistent.
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year, btw.
December 26 is until graveyard, but Dec 27 - 30 is 24 hours. Then Dec 31 is from 12 am to 7pm. Maybe they should have placed:
Open from Dec 26 7am to Dec 31 7pm!
Ambot. Hahaha. Happy Christmas!
Isn't "graveyard" a place? Hehe.
Happy holidays!
Sige nga, Dak, I'm eager o know what it means.
Mon, where I work, we call those hours night, our patients would freak out if we call it graveyard.
Frances, short and sweet.
Abaniko, I think so too.
R Panaderos, Merry Christmas to you too.
hay, my heart goes out to employees of such establishments since they decided to go 24 hours, since they decided to work on christmas day, and even on lenten season. dati kasi hindi. oh sure, that's life, that's business, but still...
anyway, merry christmas to you and your family!
em, the graveyard shift daw kasi depends sa branch so it was in general. hehehe... wat branch was this sign located?
this reminds me of a Cheers episode where Woody had to take a part time job to be able to pay for an engagement ring and it was wearing him out.
Sam: "You look tired Woody".
W:"Well, yeah, I have to work the graveyard shift to save some money".
Sam: "Really? Where do you work?"
W:(looking perplexed) "Well, duh, AT THE GRAVEYARD."
I see this this sign along the same vein as "OUT TO LUNCH"
Dak, like Mon said, the sign is confusing. The branch should have specified a time.
Lady Cess, business has changed Christmas day really. It used to be that all stores were closed. Now, not anymore.
BH, or the doctor is out?
Millie,
My brother works in Burger King. I sent him your picture. I don't know if he'll find it funny. But I do. Pwedeng isama sa mga billboards in china with funny english translations.
Shazam, did you see the picture I took in KFC?
Your brother would be happy to know I bought my birthday treat from BK.
yep, i agree, still confusing. hahaha... owell...
when i asked the person on the drive thru counter.. the answer i got was "hanggang umaga po"
DocChef and Dak, still vague, right? Maybe they should just follow Frances' advice.
