Wish: A Group Writing Project
I love group writing projects so when the opportunity came to launch a contest in this blog, I immediately thought of a group writing project.
I wished for The Princess Bride 20th anniversary special edition DVD and got it in the mail together with an extra copy the sender wants me to share with a lucky reader of the blog.
The prize
- The Princess Bride 20th anniversary special edition DVD from Worldwide Biggies.
How to participate
- Write a blog post about wishes. After all, isn't "as you wish" the magic words in The Princess Bride? Since it's Christmas, let's not make it about ourselves. Write about what you wish for another person, your child, parents, significant other, your chosen charity, anyone. Put it out there. Who knows, a kind soul may also chance upon your post and grant your heart's desire. Why not be bold and make a wish for the world?
- Leave a comment here about the URL of your post, your name and email address (formatted this way yourname at yahooorelse.com).
- Deadline is on Dec 20, midnight Manila time.
How to win
- I will be posting a round up of entries on Dec. 21.
- All participants have until Dec 27, midnight Manila time, to choose their top 3 entries and post a list in their blogs. Only participants included in the round-up will be allowed to vote. Revised rules HERE.
- The entry with the most votes will win. In case there's a tie, the entry that was submitted first wins.
- I will announce the winner on Dec 28.
- The winner will receive The Princess Bride 20th anniversary special edition DVD. I will only ship to addresses in the Philippines.

Ey, what's up, doc?!
Since this is a writing thing and since I know I'm no writer, I was about to skip this and move on to the next article. However, seeing the words THE PRINCESS BRIDE glued me to this one. ;)
Your favorite? Mine, too!
My favorite line? AS YOU WISH. :D
I wonder how I could ever win being the non-writer that I am. Hmmm.
Malou, I've read your posts before. I know you can do this. Just write from the heart.
If anyone can cook, anyone can write too.
I will join this!!! :)
And what a great idea, Em! You have a generous heart. :)

You're right, he's the funniest of the trio. I also like the part about the goblets. A game of logic.
