Albergus Catering

When we learned who was doing the catering for today's event, we knew we were in for a treat. After all, Albergus has a reputation for being one of the best in the catering business. As for the food, my family still remembers that they had a grand time at S3's wedding reception at their events place.

Lunch today consisted of tropical mesclun mixed greens with raspberry vinaigrette and ranch dressing, steamed rice, roast beef with mushroom sauce and mashed potato, chicken teriyaki, shrimp thermidore, popiah, fettucine ala pasta rosa with seafood. The dessert bar had buko jello with lychees, mango crepe with chocolate ganache and fresh fruits in season. Iced tea and iced water complemented the meal.

I was particularly impressed with the roast beef which was really tender and the shrimp thermidore which was wonderful. The greens were very fresh too.

Set-up wise, the table settings were pretty, the buffet table similarly so.

The cost per head is reasonable and at par with other caterers. One can spend so much more with another caterer and not be as pleased.
