Recharge!
In a recent post, I mentioned the health effects of stress, how it can be avoided and how it can be managed.
Personally, I destress by going to the gym, taking a vacation, eating out, slowing down a little, watching movies, blogging, Plurking, decluttering and taking photographs. Anything actually to take my mind off things.
How do you destress?

Unfortunately, through eating...
I used to think that blogging helped me destress. But when I got so addicted to it, blogging added to my stress. He he. Now, I take a nap, go to the mall or have coffee with friends to destress.
I blog, read, and knit when I am stressed.

I find reading a good book to be very relaxing!
With a diet coke over ice!!! Nothing makes me less stressed than hours at the beach. On an island that is pretty easy!
I take a shower, because that is really the only place in my house I can be alone with my thoughts and not hear anything, lol
listening to music
Chocolate Chip cookie dough does the trick for me!
Long walks, music, and funny movies do it for me. :)
writing things down in my journal or in my blog, conversations with friends, or even just a warm hug. that helps me deal with stress :D
