Confessions of a Shopaholic

Because I wanted to try out my discount card at Fully Booked, I succumbed to temptation and bought myself a copy of Confessions of a Shopaholic by Sophie Kinsella.

I enjoyed the movie but resisted buying the book for financial reasons. I knew that if I liked it, I'd end up getting sucked into the series as it was with Harry Potter.

I bought the book Tuesday and couldn't put it down. And when I finished, I kept going back to my favorite parts. Although there were similarities between the book and the movie, I must say that the movie is only loosely based on the book as many details are different. Both the movie and book are charming in their own way and I like how the two are different.

I'm definitely a fan of Sophie Kinsella and will add her novels into my list of books and movies combos. Right now, I'm thinking of my next trip to the bookstore and and how what I thought would happen did. But I don't regret buying the book at all or hesitant about the next purchases too. I think Shopaholic just made me into one and a bookaholic too.

I loved those books. It's been a few years since I've read them though. Back when I had time. I haven't gotten around to seeing the movie yet though.

Does your library carry her books. She also has shopaholic and sister, and shopaholic and baby which were also very good

I super love Sophie Kinsella's books! Started reading them years ago and I've completed the Shopaholic series already. Then I started buying her other books (Undomestic Goddess & Remember Me) :D Can't wait for her next release.
