Now, here's another idea for a clutter free Christmas.

I'm a big fan of Christmas lists because it helps others give us what we really want. Rather than give gifts that will just end up as clutter or recycled, why not contribute or work towards one big gift.

From your Christmas list, choose the gift you want the most and blog about it. Tell everyone why you want or need it and what you plan to do with it. For gadget freaks, it could be a new mobile or a camera. For foodies, it can be a food processor or something similar. It might be helpful if you can describe it in detail and to include the price needed to purchase your gift.

Funds may be raised either through pledges or maybe through Paypal.

When you raise enough funds to buy the ultimate Christmas gift, by all means, buy it and blog about it. Tell us how long it took you to build your present. And remember to thank the people who made it possible.

I don't have a gift in mind personally. All's there in my list right now are small items.
